Arenaton does not hold user trading collateral and does not maintain redeemable internal USD balances.

Smart Accounts

Section titled “Smart Accounts”

Smart Accounts are the default account mode. They are controlled by the user’s signer and hold USDC plus outcome shares directly.

No Arenaton-controlled key may be a default owner on a user Smart Account.

Raw EOA Mode

Raw EOA Mode is the advanced path for users who want to trade directly from an externally owned account. Raw EOA users have the same economic rights, but may need POL, approvals, and additional signatures.

Paymaster

Section titled “Paymaster”

The Paymaster can pay Polygon gas and be reimbursed in USDC according to user-approved limits.

  • It cannot charge more than the approved max USDC gas amount.
  • It cannot create an Arenaton user balance.
  • Paymaster outage must not block direct redemption.
  • Gas reimbursement is separate from protocol fees.

Recovery Boundary

Section titled “Recovery Boundary”

Arenaton cannot recover lost private keys or reverse valid on-chain transactions. Users should store recovery material carefully and understand which account mode they are using before trading.
